TTT – Books On My Spring 2021 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.

This week’s prompt is all about books that are on my spring TBR, and it’s perfect timing for this prompt because it has been warm enough to stop having to leave the house all bundled up this week! Last week I shared about NetGalley ARCs that I’ll be reading this spring, so this week I’m going to talk about library books that I’ll be reading soon. I get the majority of my books from the library, since it’s super close to my house, has a good selection, and doesn’t cost anything (as long as I get the books returned on time). So I generally read them in the order in which they’re due, and here’s the first 10 library books that I’m planning to read:

      • Maybe once I have a fixed income I’ll get a library card. But for now I feel like it’s too expensive. Luckily I can still access Overdrive/Libby, so I can still check out an item or two from time to time!

    • I’d be lost without my library, since I don’t have the money to buy books, and NetGalley doesn’t always approve my requests (although I do get a lot of my new books that way).

      • Totally get that, libraries are amazing and I’m so glad that you have a great one! I’ve been very lucky with Netgalley that they seem to approve most of my requests, which definitely saves me a lot of money as I can keep my book buying down if I get new releases on Netgalley!
