Top Ten Tuesday

TTT – Colorful Book Covers

Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.

This week’s topic is “colorful book covers,” and I’ve never really thought about how few books I’ve read that have colorful covers. The majority of the books that I read feature covers with muted colors or schemes with shades of one or two colors. After looking through the books that I’ve read, I managed to find ten that had fairly colorful covers. Here they are (in no particular order):

  1. The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
  2. Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender
  3. Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko
  4. All the Tides of Fate by Adalyn Grace
  5. The Camelot Betrayal by Kiersten White
  6. Saint X by Alexis Schaitkin
  7. We Unleash the Merciless Storm by Tehlor Kay Mejia
  8. You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson
  9. The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna
  10. The Merciful Crow by Margaret Owen

Have you read any of these? What are some brightly colored book covers that you love?

  1. Definitely see the *colorful* connection! Did it take very long to pick these covers? I found this week’s TTT topic as difficult as last week’s, so I just didn’t try. Glad you managed to find some gems. 🙂

  2. I had Raybearer on my list too! That, The Gilded Ones, Felix Ever After, and You Should See Me in a Crown are some books I’m definitely excited about picking up! I’ve heard a little about Saint X before- did you enjoy/recommend? I had so much fun seeing the covers you shared!
