Fae Friday – Favorite 2021 Reads

Fae Friday is an awesome new weekly post created by Kristy at Caffeinated Fae. I’m super excited to participate in this (and to have been an avid supporter of it from the beginning)! A topic is provided each week, and Kristy is so welcoming to ideas from others. If you have any ideas for topics, reach out to her through her blog or on Twitter (@caffeinatedfae).

Here’s how it works:

  • Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae.
  • If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well.
  • Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
  • Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!

October is my favorite month. That is why I’m curious what are some of your favorite reads have been this year?

I happen to love October as well! The leaves are changing, the weather is getting cooler, and I get a chance to reflect on all the amazing books I’ve read this year. Each month, I make sure to note my favorite books of the month, so I’m going to attempt to list my favorite book that I’ve read in each month so far:

January — Beach Read by Emily Henry

February — Rent a Boyfriend by Gloria Chao and A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

March — Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert

April — Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley

May — The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

June — Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid

July — Israel: A Simple Guide to the Most Misunderstood Country on Earth by Noa Tishby and Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

August — The Last Nomad by Shugri Said Salh

September — The Inheritance of Orquídea Divina by Zoraida Córdova

October (so far) — Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson

What have been your favorite reads of 2021?
