Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.
2021 was an amazing year for books, with an incredible number of really good books that were released. And while I read a lot of them, there were some that were on my TBR list that I just couldn’t get around to reading in time. Naturally, they’ve carried over into my 2022 reading list, and I’ll hopefully get to read a good number of them this year. Here they are:

- Year of the Reaper by Makiia Lucier

Amari was one I had been meaning to read too! And love the cover of Arsenic and Adobo.

You have got to read Amari and the Night Brothers! It’s such a great story. When you get the chance to read The Witch’s Heart, I suggest the audiobook as there are a lot of Norse names that may trip you up when reading (I know they would me). I ended up DNF Ace fo Spades; I struggled to get into it. I hope to read Arsenic and Adobo soon.

I want to read several of the books on your list. Amari and The Witch’s Heart especially. I really enjoyed the first in Mia P. Manansala’s series and hope to read the second book at some point this year. I hope you will enjoy Arsenic and Adobo too!
