Fae Friday – Celebrations

Fae Friday is an awesome new weekly post created by Kristy at Caffeinated Fae. I’m super excited to participate in this (and to have been an avid supporter of it from the beginning)! A topic is provided each week, and Kristy is so welcoming to ideas from others. If you have any ideas for topics, reach out to her through her blog or on Twitter (@caffeinatedfae).

Here’s the rules:

  • Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae.
  • If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well.
  • Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
  • Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!

Tomorrow is Kristy’s birthday, and it’s cause for celebration! Lucky for us, the Fae LOVE to celebrate so, the prompt this week is: What are some upcoming books that have you jumping for joy?

While 2020 has been a raging dumpster fire of a year, there was one high point: the plethora of incredible books that have been released. And the trend continues, since there are so many amazing books that are yet to be released!

I’m a die-hard fan of series, and there are some upcoming books being added to series that I’m really looking forward to:

War Lord by Bernard Cornwell – The final book in The Saxon Stories is being released on November 24th, and while I got declined on NetGalley 😭 I’m still working my way through the series. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens!

A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas – I’m not thrilled with the cover and how it doesn’t match up with the other books in the series, but I am super excited for Nesta and Cassian’s story! This one releases February 16th, and I really can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert – It’s no secret that I adore this series, and I got declined for this one 😭 on NetGalley, but I will be lined up to get this book. I have laughed and cried my way through the stories of Eve’s sisters, and I really need March 9th to come super fast.

Namesake by Adrienne Young – This one comes out on March 16th, and I nearly cried 😭 when my request was denied on NetGalley. I absolutely loved Fable and did not want to wait this long to find out what happens next, but I guess I’ll have to.

What are some book releases that you’re looking forward to?
