Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.
Ahhh, it’s that time of the year. Time for cooler weather, the smell of woodsmoke on the air, pumpkin spice everything, apples, boots and sweaters, cuddling up under a fuzzy blanket with a good book and a mug of tea, and a fall TBR list. I’m not going to talk about the ARCs on my shelf because you’ll see reviews for those, but instead, I want to talk about fall releases that are on my fall 2022 to-read list:

They look good. I do look forward to the colder weather so that I can have hot chocolates and blankets. I’ve never had pumpkin spice – I am a bit scared to try it as I don’t like cinnamon or ginger or anything like that…

I live for pumpkin everything, but I completely understand that it isn’t for everyone. But I’m glad we at least share an affinity for colder weather and who doesn’t love hot chocolate?? Enjoy your week as well!

I really enjoyed Henderson’s writing in The Year of the Witching, so I’m very excited for that one.

Here in the Southern Hemisphere we are feeling the exact opposite! Time for some warmer weather please….!!! I’m not a winter person at all.
So I am looking forward to reading in the sun and enjoy a good cocktail!
I don’t really know any of your books, but Lavender House does draw my attention for sure!

Mysteries and thrillers and dark fantasy, oh my! Haha, I couldn’t resist, but seriously, I do tend to lean into witchy and vampire reads a bit more in the fall, although mystery/thrillers pop up more often as the weather gets colder. And the cover of Lavender House is so pretty!
