Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.
There are some truly awesome books that have come out so far in 2023, and it seems like the trend is going to continue for the rest of the year. This week’s prompt is about our most anticipated books releasing during the second half of 2023. Here’s some of the books coming out in the second half of the year that I’m looking forward to:

- The Jasad Heir by Sara Hashem (July 18) — this sounds really good too, but I’ve heard so many great things about it from everyone and they’re all telling me I’m going to love it.
- Light Bringer by Pierce Brown (July 25) — I can’t wait to start reading the next book in the Red Rising series. It’s already been preordered since NG hasn’t approved me yet.
- The Sun and the Void by Gabriela Romero Lacruz (July 25) — I got sucked in by the gorgeous cover, but the blurb sounded so interesting too.
- Thornhedge by T. Kingfisher (August 15) — I’m always looking forward to starting a new Kingfisher book!
- He Who Drowned the World by Shelley Parker-Chan (August 22) — words don’t do justice to explain how excited I am about this one.
- Foxglove by Adalyn Grace (August 22) — the first book was so interesting, I can’t help but wonder where the author is going to take the story next!
- The Mystery at Dunvegan Castle by T.L. Huchu (August 29) — this is one of those super underrated series that I never see anyone talking about, and I’m thrilled to start reading the third book in the series.
- The Phoenix King by Aparna Verma (August 29) — this one just sounded so good, I can’t wait to read it.
- Starling House by Alix E. Harrow (October 3) — Harrow is another one where I don’t even have to know anything about the book to automatically know I want to read it.
- Iris Kelly Doesn’t Date by Ashley Herring Blake (October 24) — I loved all the other books in the series, so I’m fully expecting to love this one too.
What are some of your most anticipated new releases for the second half of 2023?

Thank you! The cover of Foxglove is pretty, and so is the previous book, Belladonna! They give me the same vibes as the covers from Fable by Adrienne Young.
