Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.
This week’s prompt comes from Ellie @ Curiosity Killed the Bookworm and it’s books that I’ve read or want to read because of Top Ten Tuesday. One of my favorite things about TTT is hopping around to all the other blogs and seeing what books they chose for the various lists. So many of my favorite bloggers are people who have taste that I trust, and have added books that are completely new to me to my TBR simply from TTT lists. Here’s some books that have gotten added to my TBR from Top Ten Tuesday blog hopping:

- No One Needs to Know by Lindsay Cameron
- A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross
- Homecoming by Kate Morton
- Legendborn by Tracy Deonn
- Margo Zimmerman Gets the Girl by Brianna R. Shrum and Sara Waxelbaum
- The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
- Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
- Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko
- The Lesbiana’s Guide to Catholic School by Sonora Reyes
- The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna
What books have gotten added to your TBR because of Top Ten Tuesday posts?

Except for Legendborn, I don’t think I’ve heard of any of these. Like you, I enjoy hopping around the TTT list to visit and also seeing new books. 🙂

Thank you! I love to switch things up so I don’t get too bored, so all of the different sites help give me plenty of recommendations.

I’ve read Legendborn and The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches and enjoyed them. I was hesitant to read them because of all of the hype they had received, but I’m glad I did.

I feel like those two are the rare kind of books where the hype seems to be deserved. I’m planning to read Legendborn this year.

I see Priory every where but haven’t taken the plunge yet. I’m thinking next year I’ll do both books. I feel like the covers of both of those books are so pretty that I need them physically because the covers need to be shown. Yes – that’s one of the books I had to own physically. I’m hoping to read it this year, but I said the same thing last year too and didn’t get around to it.

One book I want to read because of your TTT post is Rebecca Ross’s A River Enchanted 😉 I haven’t even checked out the blurb yet, but I’m already liking it!

Oh that’s awesome! I don’t even remember what the blurb said, but same!

I haven’t read any of these, but HOMECOMING is one I’m super excited for. I hadn’t heard of NO ONE NEEDS TO KNOW before, but it looks intriguing. I’m definitely going to take a closer look at that one.
Happy TTT!

I love that a post about books I was introduced to actually introduced you to a book lol! Sorry for the super late response, but I hope we get to read these books and discover that they’re amazing.
