I’ve really missed doing Friday Favorites, and since no one was currently hosting it, Cait @ Functionally Fictional decided to jump into the gap. Each week, she provides a prompt, and I get to talk about my favorite books that fit the topic. Feel free to join in – the more the merrier!
This week’s prompt is covers of anticipated reads, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. There are some books coming out that sound really good. I’m also a sucker for really pretty covers, so I want to highlight some anticipated reads with gorgeous covers. Here they are in no particular order (links take you to Goodreads):

- The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young
- Since She’s Been Gone by Sagit Schwartz
- The Reformatory by Tananarive Due
- The Heiress by Rachel Hawkins
- The Spirit Bares Its Teeth by Andrew Joseph White
- The Pomegranate Gate by Ariel Kaplan
- The Hurricane Wars by Thea Guanzon
- Godkiller by Hannah Kaner
- A Grandmother Begins the Story by Michelle Porter
- Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig
What books are you looking forward to?

I have a bunch of these on my TBR too. Love all of the covers, but I’m especially excited for The Unmaking of June Farrow and Two Twisted Crowns!
