Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.
This week’s topic is books with weather events in the title. I figured I’d have a tough time with this one, since I’m struggling to come up with any off the top of my head and will have to dig back through my previously read and TBR lists to come up with some. Here’s what I found:

- The Hurricane Wars by Thea Guanzon. This one is on my TBR, but I’ve heard good things about it.
- Whiteout by Dhonielle Clayton. I loved this collection of interwoven stories. And it reflects my favorite weather event—a whiteout blizzard!
- Drizzle, Dreams, and Lovestruck Things by Maya Prasad. This was the sweetest YA romance, featuring four sisters and a romance for one of them each season.
- Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon. Maybe this is cheating because it just has the word “weather,” but I’m including it because this prompt is way harder than I thought it was going to be.
- The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah. I’m guessing this is going to be a popular one this week.
- The Children’s Blizzard by Melanie Benjamin. This historical fiction book about an unexpected blizzard that hit the Dakota Territory in the late 1800s is based on a true story.
- Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse. Yeah, this is another one that I’m counting as a weather term, since this refers to an eclipse.
- Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas. If this one doesn’t fit the bill perfectly, I don’t know what does.
- We Unleash the Merciless Storm by Tehlor Kay Mejia. This was such a great duology, and I feel like it’s completely underrated.
- Shadow Frost by Coco Ma. This one has been on my TBR forever, and it’s got such a pretty cover.
What are some of the books you came up with? Did we have any in common?

In fact, i haven’t seen The Four Winds around much this week. And don’t worry about Weather Girl, it’s not cheating 🙂

I was surprised to see less posts featuring these books than I had expected. And don’t feel bad, because I totally forgot about A Court of Mist and Fury and A Court of Frost and Starlight!
