Bloggers I’m Grateful For

Today is a holiday here in America, and I don’t support the genesis of it and the way it has been whitewashed and taught in schools. Instead, my family gets together for a gratitude gathering. In reality, my family doesn’t really need much of an excuse to get together and count our blessings, and we always have a great time, so I’m looking forward to it. And in that spirit of gratitude, I want to share some of the bloggers that I’ve connected with through books, that I appreciate.

  1. Kristy @ Caffeinated Fae. She is the first person I made friends with in the bookstaverse, and she helps me keep it together. Whether its her consistently on-point book recs or her telling me all about whatever kind of paranormal romance she is reading at the moment, she’s become a true friend in real life.
  2. Cait @ Cait Marie H. This is another person I met through the bookstaverse who has become a real life friend that I can’t get through life without. We initially connected over our shared love of books, but then I also fell in love with her writing, and now it’s a wonderful friendship.
  3. Julie @ One Book More. I first met Julie on the app formerly known as twitter, where we tentatively agreed to try out a buddy read. Little was I to know that she was to become not just one of the most fun buddy read partners, but also a friend. Her blog also constantly expands my TBR.
  4. Becky @ Becky’s Book Blog. Becky seems to scour the interwebs specifically for books to add to my TBR list, because I can’t visit her blog without having at least one book added to my TBR. At least she’s kind enough to have the most amazing buddy reads with me, never holding back on a theory, no matter how outlandish it might seem, because it might just be right. Plus, she’s become a good friend across the pond, and teaches me British slang.
  5. Susan @ Novel Lives. Ahhhh, Susan. It’s really difficult to put my connection with Susan into words. She’s endlessly entertaining, brutally honest (when it comes to books), one of the kindest and sweetest humans I know, and one of the most fun people to have a buddy read with. If you really want to get a feel for what Susan is like, check out her blog.
  6. Leslie @ Books Are the New Black. I connected with Leslie through commenting on Top Ten Tuesday posts back and forth for a while before we decided that we had to do a buddy read at some point. Before we got to schedule something, she had a wonderful little bundle of joy and took a little break to do mom stuff, but I’m hoping that we’ll be able to work something out at some point after the holiday season madness calms down. Hopefully she sees this and agrees!

Who are some of the bloggers that you’re grateful for? Tag them and show your appreciation!

    • Thank you! I loved the idea of sharing my gratitude not just with family, but also with my bookish family. Leslie is an absolute sweetheart, and so are the rest of the people on the page, as are you! I always look forward to chatting with you on Tuesdays. I’m glad that my list inspired you to check these bloggers out!
