Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.
Today’s prompt is a freebie, and I’m still on vacation. It has impacted my posting schedule since obviously the younger generation of family members are infinitely more entertaining and interesting than reading and working on my blog. Since I haven’t been posting regularly, I figured I was going to use this week’s open prompt to highlight some of my favorite bloggers and recognize them for the hard work that they put into their blogs and the blogging community as a whole. Here are ten more bloggers I love seeing posts from, and hope you visit their pages:
- Rissi @ Cultural Characteristics is always the first to blog hop on Tuesdays, and I love checking out her page. Instead of focusing solely on books, her blog also includes TV and movie reviews, keeping up with the pulse of culture as a whole.
- Lydia @ Lydia Schoch always has the coolest posts featuring books that are brand new to me, and frequently highlights indie books that are incredibly interesting. Also, I love the laid-back feel of her blog with its clean lines and minimalism.
- Erin @ Still Life With Cracker Crumbs is the blog that always makes me smile, even when I’m feeling grouchy. Her blog is full of joy! She homeschools her son, shares weekly updates about the really cool things they do each week, discusses cozy movies, and reviews awesome books that I wouldn’t normally have heard of.
- Deb/Curly Geek @ The Book Stop has some really cool blog posts, including recommendations, nonfiction and fiction reviews, and the progress she’s making on a 2024 challenge through the Oz series by L. Frank Baum.
- Mandy @ Write on the World is someone that I’ve only started following recently, when she linked a post reviewing a book to my own review of it. I love being supportive of other bloggers, and think this is a blog that deserves some extra love, since she writes some awesome reviews.
- Meg @ Meg’s Magical Musings is someone who consistently has visited my blog for as far back as I can remember, and her blog is another one that doesn’t simply focus on books, but incorporates two others areas of life that are really important to her: musicals and spirituality. She even makes musicals sound appealing to me, and I haven’t ever really been a fan of musicals for the most part.
- Pam @ Read! Bake! Create! is another blog that I’ve been following for a long time, and I’m forever intrigued by her creative posts—she reads profusely and introduces me not only to awesome new books, but I can count on her to post great bookish gift ideas every holiday season!
- Aj Sterkel @ Read All The Things! is someone that I’ve followed for quite a while, and has just returned to blogging with a brief update. Pop over and check out the blog as a warm welcome back to active blogging!
- Becky @ Becky’s Book Blog is one of my favorite buddy read partners, and we have such similar taste in books that most of the time, I can just see what she’s reviewed and add it to my TBR.
- Leslie @ Books Are The New Black is another awesome buddy read partner, and I love her heavy emphasis on fantasy novels, since our taste overlaps so much I can always count on her to introduce me to some cool new books.
Do you follow any of these? Which bloggers are your faves? Let’s share some positivity and joy with each other!

I love posts like this and ALWAYS want to put one together (still something at the back of my mind). It’s always so nice to see and spotlight all the fun and talented people we “meet” on these Top Ten Tuesday posts and it’s fun to see what types of content or lists they put together. 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing all of these blogs and authors; sounds like a fun group (some I already enjoy reading!). Thanks very much for the kind shout out, too; I so appreciate this.

Of course! I haven’t done one of these in a while, but I love highlighting all the hard work that we put into our blogs. I’m still in gratitude mode from Thanksgiving (and my vacation), and wanted to share that with others. You deserve your spot on this list!

Thank you! I like to do these periodically, and especially since I can’t possibly cover all my favorite bloggers in a post or two. Plus, I’m meeting cool new people all the time, like you!

Thanks for the shoutout Leah! I love that you enjoy seeing my lists, and always find a book or two to add to your neverending TBR. I’ve found a few through you, and enjoyed them a lot. Especially Benji Zeb is a Ravenous Werewolf. I hope you enjoy your time with family.

Thank you! Your blog is one of my favorites to read, and I’m thrilled that I’ve been able to add some books to your TBR. I can’t wait until my niece is old enough for me to send her a copy of Benji Zeb!

Thank you! I got to know many of these bloggers through TTT, and couldn’t manage to squeeze all my faves into one list of ten. I’ll just have to create another one soon.

It’s what I love about the book memes. You feel a real community. Not like on other social media. 😊

We are SO overdue for our next buddy read – can we schedule something for after the hustle and bustle of the holidays is over, giving me something to look forward to?
