Fae Friday is an awesome new weekly post created by Kristy at Caffeinated Fae. I’m super excited to participate in this (and to have been an avid supporter of it from the beginning)! A topic is provided each week, and Kristy is so welcoming to ideas from others. If you have any ideas for topics, reach out to her through her blog or on Twitter (@caffeinatedfae).
Here’s the rules:
- Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae.
- If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well.
- Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
- Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!
This week’s Fae Friday topic is pixie dust!
If you’ve seen Peter Pan, you know that pixie dust is used to make you fly. So this week’s prompt is: What is a book that made your heart soar?
This one really took some thought on my part, since I much prefer dark and twisty books to those that make my heart soar. However, after a lot of searching through the list of books I’ve read, I came up with …
Honey and the Hitman by Hannah Murray.
It’s a sweet romance (that still has some dark and twisty parts), but also includes small town life, a great plot, awesome characters, and the sweetest, goofiest dog I could ever have dreamed up.
What’s your bookish version of pixie dust?
