Fae Friday is an awesome new weekly post created by Kristy at Caffeinated Fae. I’m super excited to participate in this (and to have been an avid supporter of it from the beginning)! A topic is provided each week, and Kristy is so welcoming to ideas from others. If you have any ideas for topics, reach out to her through her blog or on Twitter (@caffeinatedfae).
Here’s the rules:
- Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae.
- If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well.
- Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
- Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!
Summer is in full swing, and today’s post reflects that.
The sun is shining, the trees are thriving, and the flowers are in full bloom. As we all know, many faeries love to commune with nature, so the prompt this week is:
What is a book that takes place in nature that you enjoyed?
I’d have to say All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace. A lot of the book took place traveling around Amora’s kingdom via ship. I got to experience the difference between the islands through her eyes, since she hadn’t ever left her own island before. It was really cool to see how varied each location was, and I actually felt like I was traveling around with her.
What’s a book that takes place in nature that you liked? Feel free to join in on #FaeFriday with us!
