Fae Friday is an awesome new weekly post created by Kristy at Caffeinated Fae. I’m super excited to participate in this (and to have been an avid supporter of it from the beginning)! A topic is provided each week, and Kristy is so welcoming to ideas from others. If you have any ideas for topics, reach out to her through her blog or on Twitter (@caffeinatedfae).
Here’s how it works:
- Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae.
- If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well.
- Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
- Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!
With many of my friends participating in NaNoWriMo, I want to know if you’re participating in NaNoWriMo, and if you are, what are you writing? If you’re not participating, what are some books you’ve enjoyed that were written during NaNoWriMo?
I decided to participate in NaNoWriMo this month. It’s a great way to get myself into the habit of writing every day, especially on the days when I just don’t feel like it. Those days usually wind up being the most productive days.
For this month, I’m working on a YA romance set during the Jewish holiday of Passover, featuring a girl who is bisexual and coming to terms with her sexuality. Her love interest is a non-Jewish girl, and I’m already so in love with the story and the characters. I couldn’t resist sneaking an adorable chihuahua into the story as well (in honor of my own two chihuahuas), and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
Are you writing anything for NaNoWriMo? If you are, you can find me under Leah M.

No- don’t know if any of my book ideas will even hit that requirement. After all, my ideas are children’s books

But that might be a possibility Greatest Discovery and my Expansive World idea could get to 50,000 words

Well, you’ve got time to plan! And Camp NaNo in April and July allows you to set your own goal. Could be something to think about.
