I’ve really missed doing Friday Favorites, and since no one was currently hosting it, Cait @ Functionally Fictional decided to jump into the gap. Each week, she provides a prompt, and I get to talk about my favorite books that fit the topic. Feel free to join in – the more the merrier!
I haven’t always been picky about places to read, although in recent years, my disability has forced me to become a bit more discerning. I can’t focus on reading if I’m not comfortable, so here are some of my favorite places to read:

- My bed. There’s no place that is more comfortable to me than my bed. I spend a lot of time in or on my bed, whether I’m actually laying down or propped up on pillows like a queen.
- The couch. I’m lucky enough to have a gorgeous pair of overstuffed couches, which are wonderful to curl up on. They’re also next to the window, which is perfect whether it’s a beautiful sunny day or a rainy day.
- The library. It’s nice and quiet, and the library has these awesome comfortable soft chairs to curl up in. Although when I go there, it’s often difficult not to leave with more books, and I’m trying to work through the ones I have already checked out.
What are some of your favorite places to read?

For the most part, I read in my room- either at my desk or on the bed
But there have a few exceptions- like on vacation or if I am reading my Kindle
