I finished September with 26 ARCs left to be read.
October was a busy month, and I knew it was going to be. I went on vacation for 9 days at the start of the month, and that was fun, but as soon as I returned, it was to a whirlwind of doctor appointments. My reading this month was nowhere near what I’d have hoped it would be, but I’m glad that I managed to get as much reading done as I did. I read and reviewed as many books as I got approved for (except for that last minute book that got approved), so my ratio stayed steady at 92%. However, I really want to get through a good portion of this list because I hate being behind on commitments.
I got approved for 5 new books in October:

- The Witchwood Knot by Olivia Atwater
- The Hunting Moon by Susan Dennard
- Village in the Dark by Iris Yamashita
- Benji Zeb is a Ravenous Werewolf by Deke Moulton
- The House Guest by Alison James
These are the ARCs that I read and reviewed, with links to my reviews:

- The Spirit Bares Its Teeth by Andrew Joseph White — see my review here.
- A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid — see my review here.
- A Box of Magick by Jamie Della — see my review here.
- The Hunting Moon by Susan Dennard — see my review here.
Here are the ARCs I still have to read:

- The Pomegranate Gate by Ariel Kaplan
- The Maker’s Guide to Magic by Andrea Hannah
- Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig
- A Victorian Grimoire by Patricia Telesco
- Spoon to be Dead by Dana Mentink

Which ARCs are you excited about this month? Do we have any in common? Have you already read any of the ones on my list?

I cannot WAIT for that one! It’s a struggle getting through my TBR in the order I had planned.

I enjoyed Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands! I think if you liked book 1, you’ll like book 2 also.

I sure hope so! But I think it’s a safe bet.
