I finished December with 28 ARCs left to be read.
January is one of those months that I love. There’s a fresh feel to the start of a new year, and I’m partial to my birthday month. I’ve started feeling better, and getting back on top of my reading again. I got approved for a lot of books this month, but I also got a lot of reviews done. I’ve also discovered the joy of NetGalley audiobook ARCs, which are especially helpful to me. And while I got through almost as many ARCs as I got approved for, I also got approved for some that aren’t due as soon. So my plan of getting rid of some of this backlog and getting my ratio even higher is right on track, as long as I stop making any requests in February. Think I can do it?
I got approved for 14 new books in January:

Wow! That’s a lot of ARCs. I’m going to try not to feel overwhelmed by the 7 I have.

That’s so many ARCs!! I just got into Netgalley, and it’s great so far! Are most of these books ebooks or physical copies? I’ve been wanting physical ARC books for some time now, but I don’t know how to get them except for directly messaging the publisher!

These are all eARCs, and yes it’s a lot, I’m feeling overwhelmed by them. I do get some physical ARCs – a few publishers reached out to me, and sometimes authors will reach out and offer books, but reaching out to publishers directly is a great way to get physical ARCs!
