April was hectic for me. The weather was gross, with windy rainstorms for so much of the month, and on top of that, we had the kitchen redone. It was spur of the moment, so a lot of the month was spent wondering where things were and just praying for the work to be done with enough time for us to prepare for Passover. My sister flew up and surprised us for the holiday, and it was really nice. And through all of this, I was also trying to get blog posts scheduled as far out as I could so that I wouldn’t have to post until my shoulder was healed a bit more.
I’m still slowly working my way through two nonfiction books, managed to make some really good progress on my ARCs, but also did a little reading of my own. I’m still working through two nonfiction books that I’m taking my time with, and even read a book that wasn’t on my ARC list! Here’s some highlights from April:
- My blog continues to grow, which I’m really proud of.
- For past due ARCs, I have 4 from NG and 7 from publishers.
- I read 2 nonfiction books in April: one was about tarot and the other was about lavender.
- I DNF’d two books: a cozy mystery and a YA romance.
