April was a rough month. I’ve noticed that bookish people are falling into one of two categories in how we’re coping with stress — those who can’t focus on reading, and those who are reading excessively. I’m in the second category, but I have an agreement with a friend in the first category that I’m “reading for two.”
I also participated in the Magical Readathon this month, which was really fun to do. I was aiming to complete the OWLs for Hogwarts professor of transfiguration, and I did it!
I also committed to getting through the ARCs and Read for Reviews (R4R) that have been piling up on my TBR. Even though I still have one left over, I’m very proud of the progress I made on these.
As usual, I got the vast majority of my reviews written, but not all of them have been posted yet. I’ll be posting them in the next week, so keep a lookout for that, since I read some really great books.
My favorite book of April 2020 was Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert.
