Hey hey! I’m trying to catch up on posting my book reviews from last month, so yeah, I’m posting twice today. But it’s all good because I got tagged in a fun, quick, and easy book tag that I was super excited to do! HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU USUALLY READ AT ONCE?

I generally read one book at a time, but on occasion I read two. However, when I read two books at a time, they have to be different genres. I can’t read two fantasy books at once, or I get confused. It’s much easier to read a fantasy book and a mystery or romance.

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHEN TO SWITCH BETWEEN MULTIPLE READS?

Like Dini, I’m also more of a mood reader. I switch off when the mood strikes and I feel more inclined to read the other genre instead of the one I’m currently reading. If it’s close to bedtime, I try not to read the book that’s likely to suck me in and keep me reading late into the night.

DO YOU EVER SWITCH BOOKMARKS PARTWAY THROUGH A BOOK?

Nope. I don’t actually use bookmarks – I just kind of use junk mail or receipts or whatever is laying around, so there’s no shortage of that!

WHAT TIME OF DAY DO YOU READ THE MOST?

I try to find time during the day to read as often as I can. However, the time when I am most productive with my reading is at night.

HOW LONG DO YOU TYPICALLY READ IN ONE SESSION?

I have absolutely no idea! If I’m uninterrupted, I’ll read for hours. Unfortunately, I have dogs, and family, and responsibilities, and a phone that distracts me. But at night, I’ll generally read for at least an hour or two, generally more if possible. Maybe I’ll have to time how much I read for in a session?

DO YOU READ HARDCOVERS WITH THE DUST JACKET OFF?

I absolutely do! I’ve only gotten into hardcovers recently, and the first time I read one with the dust jacket on it kept slipping down and got squished, and I was horrified. Now I take it off while I’m reading but put it back on when I finish.

WHAT POSITION DO YOU MAINLY USE TO READ?

I have the most awesome boyfriend pillow, so I sit on my bed leaning on that pillow. It’s super comfortable, and the perfect cross between sitting and reclining.

DO YOU TAKE YOUR CURRENT READ WITH YOU EVERYWHERE YOU GO?

Just about – I take my current book with me to any place that there is a chance that I may have to read it. This means there’s almost always a book or my kindle in my purse.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU UPDATE YOUR GOODREADS READING PROGRESS?

I update Goodreads when I start a new book, usually about halfway through the book, and once I finish. I’m a goal oriented girl!
