Deviant deeds at sea…
As the crown prince of Danataria and CEO of his own billion-dollar company, Preston Atland has been drowning in responsibilities with no end in sight. Then he meets his charmingly beautiful new cabin attendant aboard his superyacht and feels like he’s taking his first breath in months.
For the short duration of his business trip, he makes it his mission to get to know Maggie Hammond better—much better, clothing optional. That is until he realizes she’s the youngest daughter of a close family friend; a girl Preston knew back when she still wore pigtails and chased butterflies in the palace gardens.
Too bad that doesn’t do anything to quell his desire for the woman she’s become or ease the unpleasant tightness in his pants. Out of respect for her father, Preston will do his damnedest to keep his hands—and every other body part—off his alluring employee. With the trip only lasting a couple of days, it can’t be that hard to be good.
But his mission proves much harder than he thought, especially when she’s pressing her body to his and begging him to be bad. Because if there’s one thing Preston does well, it’s giving his loyal subjects exactly what they want.
*This story was previously published for a brief period as Perverted Prince by Patience Parks, the former collaborative pen name of Gina L. Maxwell and Laura Wright. Gina L. Maxwell holds the copyright for this story. This version contains edits and significant additional content not found in the original edition.

I also read this as a Patience Parks short, and loved it. Once again, my only complaint about the steamy story was that it wasn’t long enough. And although I didn’t even know that Gina was one of the authors behind this talented duo, I was over the moon thrilled to find out that she was re-releasing it with even more content!
It’s a charming (no pun intended) story of a whirlwind romance between a prince/tech billionaire who is wholly invested in his work, and the gorgeous girl who draws his attention and charms her way into his heart, just as he realizes that she’s the daughter of a very close friend of the family.
I loved the personalities of the characters. Preston could have easily been portrayed as arrogant and one-dimensional, but instead he’s well-rounded, sweet, protective of the people he cares about, and has a great sense of humor. I couldn’t help but fall in love with him and enjoy the chapters where we got to be in his head. And as for Maggie? She was amazing! I love a strong, sassy female character who isn’t afraid to say what she thinks and go after what she wants. Even when she’s talking directly to the crown prince of her kingdom, she held her ground and was able to be exactly who she was.
The way the romance develops felt so natural, especially since they already knew each other and were comfortable with each other from the start. There are some graphic sex scenes in the story, and they’re incredibly hot. No one writes a sex scene like Gina does, and she’s absolutely one of my favorite erotic romance writers. The idea of writing novellas is brilliant, especially since not everyone has the ability to focus on a full book at this time, so this is the perfect length to offer a fulfilling story without having to commit to a full-length book.
