June turned out to be a super productive month for me, even though it felt like it flew past. Does anyone else feel like this month was ridiculously short? I’ve been staying home a lot, especially since it’s been oppressively hot lately. I know the heat has been really bad everywhere (unless you’re lucky enough to be somewhere that isn’t having summer right now, in which case I’m super jealous of you right now).
This year I vowed to focus on my goals for the year. So here we go:
- I got a few new followers this month, so I’m up to 384. I’m hoping to get to 400 soon!
- Blog posts have continued daily, and scheduling in advance was especially helpful. Rather than just scheduling posts one day in advance, I’ve been scheduling posts multiple days in advance, so that I have the time to plan out thoughtful posts.
- I read 9 NetGalley ARCs this month and got my list of ARCs down to a manageable number. However, I promptly went on a requesting spree, so I’m waiting for my ratio to go down any day now. The State of the ARC accountability post has been super helpful with that.
- I think I’ve done really well with continuing to diversify my reading, focusing on some LGBTQ+ books for Pride Month.
