Top Ten Tuesday

TTT – Books On My Winter 2022-2023 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday used to be a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, but was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. “It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.” This is definitely something I can understand and want to participate in.

I’m super excited about my upcoming TBR for winter 2022-2023. There are some truly amazing books sitting on my shelf, both those that have already come out and those that are upcoming releases. The top ten books that I’m excited about reading (in no particular order) are:

  1. The Poison Season by Mara Rutherford
  2. Lady Smoke by Laura Sebastian
  3. The Final Strife by Saara El-Arifi
  4. Bone Weaver by Aden Polydoros
  5. Ashes of the Sun by Django Wexler
  6. The Witch and the Vampire by Francesca Flores
  7. Assassin of Reality by Marina and Sergey Dyachenko
  8. The Magician’s Daughter by H.G. Parry
  9. The Bladed Faith by David Dalglish
  10. The Faithless by C.L. Clark

What books are on your winter TBR? Do we have any in common?

    • I feel like lately, books are coming out with such stunning covers! I’m hoping to get to all of these this winter, so fingers crossed, right? And I didn’t realize until now that this list makes it look like I only read fantasy lol.

  1. I am SO excited for The Magicians Daughter and SO jealous you already have a copy lol, but I do hope you enjoy it. I’m intrigued to see what you think of The Poison Season & The Bone Weaver because they both sound excellent… also you’ve reminded me that I need to read The Unbroken, I’m definitely a little in love with the cover of the sequel.

    • I’m super excited for those – The Poison Season is aspirational since I don’t actually have a copy 😭 but you’re going to love The Unbroken and I fully agree that the sequel’s cover is a stunner. I saw it and was speechless!

  2. These all look good based on covers and titles alone, honestly. I am really curious about The Witch and the Vampire. The Magician’s Daughter also caught my eye. I hope you enjoy all of these!
